What’s been happening:

After graduation, I went to MIT's Sloan School of Management for an MS in Management. Decided to stay on and got my PhD in finance from the Sloan School. Took a faculty position at Purdue in 1964, in the Krannert Graduate School of Management. Have been a member of that faculty ever since, interspersed with visiting positions at MIT, Harvard, and Duke along the way. Was named a Distinguished Professor of Management at Purdue in 1988, a position I still hold. My academic area is Corporate Finance, and I've published over 90 articles in professional finance and economics journals, plus four books. I was Acting Dean of the School for one year, and Director of the School's Executive MBA programs for over 20 years. My teaching in recent years has been in those EMBA programs, which have residencies in Europe and Asia as well as in the US. Will always be grateful to Penn State for getting me started.
